FrankenChemie with new Internet presence online
The redesigned website, which is based on the latest Joomla Content-Management-System (CMS), has been online for several days. During this transition, special attention was paid to designing this site even more clearly, and to make access even more straightforward. The English section now corresponds to the German section again in terms of visuals and content. Product search is also being expanded step-by-step to include the new product area of FrankenChemie; the work on this is underway.
What’s important? Clear structures!
All the information about the products, product categories and the company is now presented in an even clearer overview. The top navigation bar contains a summary of all the topics that are linked directly with the company. Our contact with you is our top priority. Consequently, the contact button is now located in top position on our website. The information on the company has been extended, enabling you to find the most important certifications, memberships and product brochures under the heading “About us”.
The product portfolio and current topics can be accessed on the left navigation bar. Under Product overview, you can find an overview of the different product categories. If you are looking for information about a product, you can use Product search. Using a search for INCI designations, trade name, initial letter or via Category search, you can find targeted information on the product you are looking for. As a registered customer, you have access to data sheets, specifications and safety data sheets.
Usability – User friendliness
The ergonomics have been further refined with regard to perception and readability. By using the web fonts “Rotis Sans Serif”, in accordance with the CD directive of FrankenChemie, the text information is more quickly perceived. In this regard, readability not only applies to the text, but also to the presentation and colour accents of the navigation functions. Font size and text colour are adjusted to make reading easier. For this reason, all important elements such as headings and links are consistently kept in the colour “red”, for example.
Fresh design – from old to new
Subtle colour gradients, light shadows and more spacing create more space for content and liven up the entire image. But in order to help customers of FrankenChemie find their way around quickly, the current design is based on the previous design. The colour scheme and layout of the individual areas has thus been adopted and improved. Sensible spacing and uniformly formatted texts contribute to the “new look”.
Better safe than sorry
For FrankenChemie, the security of customer data is extremely important. What applies to FrankenChemie internally for its employees and current EDP also applies to the website. Here, the regular updating of administration software for the website ensures that personal data are secure and will remain so in future.

For you as a registered user, noting has changed in terms of the login. So, just log in and start your product search as usual. Now also for our Household Care products. Over the next few weeks, we will also be expanding the product database to include waxes, oils and preservatives.
