SEPAWA Congress 2015

The 62nd congress of one of Europe’s largest associations for detergents, cosmetic products and perfumes was this year held at the Esperanto Hotel in Fulda from 14 to 16 October, hitting a new record with 2417 participants from 49 countries. The event was a success enjoying ever-growing popularity and presenting the highlights of the year.

Exhibitors, visitors, many interested parties and of course the organisers themselves were able to witness a varied and exciting show, which boasted a wide range of scientific lectures, several SEPAWA talent awards presented to university graduates for outstanding dissertations, a host of specialised and interdisciplinary discussion opportunities and much more over its three days.

All participants were once again able to get a taste of the congress’ motto, “Meet your Business”. FrankenChemie returned this year as an exhibitor sharing in and actively contributing to the lively discussions about raw materials, new technical issues and business opportunities. Commercial partners were warmly welcomed and customer matters were enthusiastically discussed with many new and old faces to be seen.

We presented our new product, the KEM NAT ß preserving agent, at our booth and it was very well received. Not only is KEM NAT β effective against bacteria, yeasts and mould; its mild and gentle properties make it ideal for use in natural cosmetics and it also meets the requirements of many nature certificates. A number of other products from our Personal Care and Household Care ranges were also the subject of countless talks at the show. There were lots of new and interesting things to enjoy in general, and looking back, it was a very successful event.
